The answer is both simple and complex. The simple answer is that we and many others believe it offers far better value for money when it comes to that hard-earned vacation. Let me explain why.... When you book with us you get a first-class vacation rental that we have furnished to our personal taste. That means tiled floors and excellent decor rather than a worn out or run down villa that has been rented out for years without any care from its absentee landlord. It also means peace-of-mind. You could pay a major tour company thousands for your holiday and still be turned into the villa of their choice (after spending ages trying to find the management company offices to sign their paperwork and pay the locally chargeable deposits and fees). When you rent from us, you drive directly to the vacation rental that you have chosen and let yourselves in. What that means is that after your long flight from the UK, (9 1/2 hrs) or even Seattle, you can typically be in the villa of your choice about 1 1/2 hours after landing. (We have met people in the street, long after dark still looking for other people's villas - with our arrangements, you can be there with the minimum of delay!). The result of these arrangements is that you can turn your attention to settling in - putting the kids in the pool to satisfy the excitement and enthusiasm they have been struggling to hold in since you left! So while others might still be driving around, maybe you'll crack a bottle of wine and chill out beside your private pool. (The supermarket is at the top of the road and some meat and salad will set you back about $12. The perfect end to a long day! (Compare that with a villa that we know of locally and used by a well-known UK holiday company - what normally happens is that the guests arrive late at night and after about 2 or 3 days they have moved on to another villa or hotel because the villa is so poorly kept.) I almost forgot to say that renting from us will also cost you less. When you rent our villa, almost everything is included (apart from cleaning (<7 day rentals) and pool heat (if required)) or can be supplied. What that means is you don't have to pay $25 per week for each additional item that you might decide you need when you arrive. We include the child seat, high chair, cot, pushchair/backpack, pool toys. Believe me, it soon adds up! Check the small print on other Florida villa and vacation rental sites! Ah, yes. Flexibility. Maybe you want to come for 9 days or 17 days. Try that with other vacation rental companies! And then there's the per adult per night supplements when you don't achieve the highest possible occupancy. We have no supplements! Some companies will charge you ?8/$14 per adult per night for having the place to yourselves - that could be as much as a ?1120/$1960 supplement. We have no such supplements - you can go on your own if you like and it will cost the same - and still much less than a decent hotel! Did I mention that when we can, we'll even come and meet you at the airport and escort you to your villa?? Yes, we do this as a courtesy when we can. We understand it can be daunting to fly, rent a car and then drive (maybe on the wrong side of the road) in unfamiliar territory.
