There's one day of the year that jet lage can be your freind! Yes, believe it or not when you wake at 4am on the first or second day after you arrive there can be hidden benefits! The day after Thanksgiving heralds the greatest sales of the year! The major stores open at 4 or 5am! Perrfect..... So a quick bite of breakfast and off to the sales for the die-hard shoppers. Try that from a hotel room. There are some family members who might not be so keen to go and someone has to look after the younger members. If you're all packed into a small hotel room, then you'll be hard pushed to get up and out without waking them. In a spacious vacation rental, you'll easily slip out sustained by that first cup of tea or coffee in the kitchen before you go!
